Steering Column Modules
The continued development of vehicle electrical systems has promoted a higher level of electrical and electronic integration into single modules. Through the deletion of redundant components, this advancement has led to added functionality, improved reliability and reduced vehicle costs. TRW's Steering Column Module is an example of this integration advantage. Turn signal controls, wiper controls, clockspring and steering angle sensor are supplied as one module, ready for assembly onto the steering column. The Steering Column Control Module has the ability to offer both high- and low-speed data communication to directly manage the local switch controls and data communication.
