This type of inflator is a pyro actuator device that allows tailorable restraint performance in the passenger airbag module.  This technology provides the OEM additional venting of inflator gases improving performance of varying size occupants from as small as a 5th female to as large as a 95th male configuration.  This coupled with deployment strategies of the individual vehicle provides our customers with all the tools they need to have a safe occupant cabin.
