TRW Airbag Control Units (ACUs) offer robust crash detection based on an occupant dynamic-based algorithm. Available features include dual-stage crash severity algorithms and up to 24 firing loops. The flexible design means the unit can meet all North American and European regulations, and it is scalable to meet platform-within-platform requirements. An integrated rollover sensing option with an additional gyro is also available.
