TRW's Slip Control Boost (SCB) system offers regenerative braking capabilities ideal for hybrid vehicle applications and integrates a TRW electronic stability control system for better safety performance. The SCB system also replaces the traditional brake actuation system including boosters, master cylinders and vacuum pumps with an electro-hydraulic control unit (EHCU), and a brake pedal simulator with a twin master cylinder to supply brake pressure.
