A patented, In Mold Assembly (IMA) process allows TRW Automotive to produce complete vane assemblies and even complete air registers with just one tool and in only one cycle. This new process allows TRW Automotive to eliminate a separate assembly step by molding movable components in the manufacturing process. In addition, the new technology enables TRW Automotive to meet the close tolerance limits that were difficult, if not impossible, with conventional processes.
