Forward Collision Warning
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) systems from TRW use radar-based sensors and cameras to monitor the road ahead. They help provide object recognition and detect relative speeds between the vehicle and an approaching object. When the speed of the object is such that it represents a risk of collision, the driver receives an audible, visual or haptic warning.

Compact Driver Airbag
TRW's Compact Driver Airbag Module offers the next step for styling flexibility and lower mass, due to its small size. This module still accommodates all the features of a full function airbag system such as TRW's snap-in guidance attachment system, active tether/venting, single- or dual-stage inflators, inflator mass damper and horn function.
Vibrating Steering Wheel
TRW's vibrating steering wheel system allows drivers to be notified of possible collisions, lane departures or drowsiness warnings.

Electronic Stability Control
TRW’s Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems combine anti-lock brakes (ABS) and traction control with a lateral stability control function. TRW’s ESC systems are specifically designed to help control and maintain the lateral stability of the vehicle. If a potential loss of vehicle control is sensed, ESC automatically applies brake pressure to the appropriate wheel(s) and, if necessary, cuts engine throttle to help bring the vehicle back in line with the driver's intended path.

Electrically Powered Steering

Active Control Retractor
