The ESC- PH enables brake blending of up to 0.25g deceleration within the EBC460 ESC-Premium architecture. This brake control system uses a conventional actuation system with the ability to detect travel sensing in order to provide excellent cost, weight, and package characteristics. It also uses production-proven technology and a robust system design. The system is based on the TRW premium EBC460 system with a six-piston pump and twelve valves. With a high pressure dynamic apply, the six-piston pump provides the best performance for the ACC, ACC-Follow to Stop, Automatic Emergency Braking, and other driver assist systems.
