Colette Type Calipers
One and Two Piston Fist Type Caliper
Using a fist type caliper Colette Type “c”, it is actuated by one piston and sliding housing.
The one piston Fist Type Caliper is a cost effective solution for small- and medium segment vehicles with low- to mid-performance requirements. Whereas the two piston Fist Type caliper is a solution for medium- and luxury- segment vehicles, with medium performance requirements, as well as for light trucks and commercial vans.

Premium Colette
The Colette caliper is a cost-effective solution offering excellent stopping performance and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) refinements. Key features are a captive pad abutment concept and a Colette guiding system that maintains a life-long seal. The Premium Colette offers low residual drag features as well as enhanced fuel savings and greenhouse gas emissions.
The Colette design, invented by TRW, is the most widely fitted floating caliper (500 million-plus globally). It is available for front brakes in both single and twin piston versions. Rear brakes can also include integrated mechanical and electro-mechanical park brakes. Colette offers enhanced product performance with precise pad loading that enables NVH performance as well as low residual drag. Colette calipers are available with housings in either conventional cast iron or lightweight aluminum. The latest Colette design uses aluminum brackets with a potential weight saving of approximately 30 percent compared to the standard cast iron versions and optimized piston seals/active pad retraction features to minimize residual drag, which leads to increased fuel efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Colette IPB Caliper
TRW continues to be the global market leader in integrated park brakes. With service and park brake functionalities integrated into one unit, TRW's Integrated Park Brake provides a complete rear brake solution for four-wheel disc brake vehicles.
In addition to beneficial Colette features, the Integrated Parking Brake caliper features a highly efficient, ball-in-ramp actuating system and a variable cable connection port to allow for flexible packaging. With clamp load capacities of 13kN, 18kN and 25kN, this caliper is designed for the complete range of passenger cars, small to medium vans and some light truck applications. IPB park brake solutions are designed to reduce drag and save weight versus traditional mechanical parking brake options.
