In addition, TRW offers Colette-type calipers for small vehicle segments, which are further weight- and cost-reduced. The Colette, originated and patented by a subsidiary of TRW, remains the world’s most common brake caliper and have become an industry standard throughout the years. TRW has continued to optimize its brake calipers for drag, durability, reliability and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) performance.
