TRW Automotive Aftermarket is a leading provider of high-quality replacement parts, service and technical support for both independent aftermarket (IAM) and vehicle manufactures service (VMS) channels.

Combining the strength of original equipment (OE) programs and an extensive range of more than 4,000 high-quality products, TRW Aftermarket leads South America in market share for braking, steering and suspension, engine valves and brake fluid. The business also offers electronic components products.

TRW Aftermarket exports products to more than 20 countries in Central and South America, including Mexico, Argentina, Columbia, Chile and Venezuela.

Braking Systems

As a leader in brake systems for both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and independent aftermarket businesses, TRW South America offers an extensive portfolio of products for vehicles made by several automakers.

• Hydraulics: Master cylinders, cylinder wheels, clutch, cylinders, brake fluid, calipers, repair kits, hoses and valves
• Friction: Pads, shoes, discs and drums

Steering & Suspension

TRW Automotive is one of the largest manufacturers of steering and suspension products in South America. The company offers a wide range of components, including hydraulic/ mechanical systems and remanufactured steering parts. Replacement parts, service and technical support are also available to both IAM and VMS organizations.

• Suspension: tire-rods, ball joints, arms, linkages and control arms

Electronic Components

The TRW Electronics business in South America produces an extensive range of components, such as air conditioning controls, light dimmers, switches, lamp dimmers, radiator compensation tanks, reservoir level sensors, alarms, lamp holders and heating valves. Products launched recently include turn signals and steering locks.

These components are designed for cars and commercial vehicles, as well as motorcycles.

Engine Valves

TRW South America exports more than 120 valve part numbers each year. The valves are produced for the vehicle, commercial and motorcycle markets, as well as the IAM.
